I have had no such errors, nor has Windows update changed the driver as others have stated.

This thread is locked. Update has found and installed gigahit for other components so I think it’s safe to assume that update is functioning properly.

The following gigait is the steps I used to install a working network driver; 1 open Device Manager 2 right-click Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit Controller 3 gigzbit “Update Driver Software” 4 select “Browse my computer for driver software” 5 select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer” 6 From this list begin the process of elimination until you find a driver cintroller works.
