In the morning you will have the opportunity to attend a blessing ceremony. The 280 year old temple is nestled on a small island in the middle of fragrant water lilies and greenery in the center of the resort and is connected to the rest of the hotel by a stone bridge. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then we visit Amber Fort, one of the most fascinating Indian fortifications. The imposing building is located on the crest of a mountain within the Aravalli Mountains and is naturally protected on all sides. The fortress can be reached on foot, by jeep or, if available, on elephant back. Later visit the City Palace. The huge silver water ships are a must see. You drive past the Hawa Mahal. The five-storey building along the main street of the old city with its many delicate honey-colored windows was originally designed with the aim of enabling the ladies of the royal house to observe everyday life and the royal processions without being seen themselves. Afterwards you can have a very special experience for an additional charge - elephants. When you arrive at Dera Amer Camp, the lovely pachyderms will greet you and make first contact with them by feeding them bananas. Later you will accompany the elephants to a small pond where you will bathe the elephants with the help of the camp staff and the mahouts. Your questions will be answered with pleasure. You will then have the unique opportunity to paint an elephant with natural colors that are gentle on the animals' sensitive skin. Then ride your elephant through the forest past a 300-year-old Hindu temple.
