Got7 dissolved

Completely surprising, GOT7 have released a music video for the brand new single "ENCORE". It is the first release after all contracts with JYP Entertainment have expired.

Sentimental, depressing, curious and future-oriented - this is how you can describe the music video for "ENCORE". It will certainly spark different emotions in every viewer and fan. In memory you can see many past moments of the seven members. The music video comes as a surprise and without much notice. A teaser appeared just yesterday - currently 800,000 views. It shows that GOT7's promotions as a group are now in the hands of Warner Music Korea. The music video already counts two million views after only seven hours - Ahgases, the so-called fans of the boy band, are very happy about this gift.

GOT7 (kor .: 갓 세븐) is a South Korean boy group, which consists of the seven members Mark, JB, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, as well as BamBam and Yugyeom. The popular K-Pop formation debuted on January 20, 2014 with the release of their mini-album "Got It?" and the theme song "Girls Girls Girls" from the South Korean agency JYP Entertainment. The discography consists of a total of 15 mini-albums and three albums. Six singles and one album were also released in Japan. In 2019, JB and Yugyeom were active as the Jus2 sub-unit. GOT7 gave a sold out concert in the Velodrom in Berlin in June 2018 and were on stage again in the Mercedes Benz Arena Berlin in October 2019.

In January 2021 it was officially announced that all seven members had decided not to renew their contracts after seven years and thus to leave JYP Entertainment. The fans weren't thrilled about it, but the seven assured their fans that they won't break up as a group. Meanwhile, Youngjae signed a contract with Sublime Artist Agency (SAA), while Jackson focused on his established label TEAM WANG and signed a business contract with SAA. Mark returned to his hometown of Los Angeles, United States. Jinyoung got a job with BH Entertainment and Yugyeom with the local hip hop label AOMG. JB already has plans and has opened new social media channels under the name Jay B. All members are active with their individual accounts on Instagram and Twitter.
