Hello,

my rear diff rumbles and clones very strongly from 60 km / h, and also emits vibrations. If you have jacked up the car e.g. Runs in 4th gear and holds one side tightly, which then increases significantly. The car also drives strangely in roundabouts or bends. And the diff lock no longer goes in either.

In any case, I would first like to hang in a replacement diff so that I can repair the defective one in peace or have it repaired.

To this the question: Fits in my 1998 Y61 2.8 SWB a differential from a 1994 Y60 2.8 ?

How big is the chance that this is true across the board?

According to internet research, both vehicles should have the H233B rear axle with the 4.625: 1 ratio? Unfortunately, I can't find the axle code (HG 46) anywhere on the car, papers, etc. that would help me. Even my Nissan dealer allegedly couldn't find anything in his data on my car.

Thank you so much!
Best regards

PS: The error has been diagnosed with reasonable certainty. Gearbox, DMF, clutch, cardan shaft came in about 2000km ago. The drivetrain is almost completely new ... so it was clear that the diff now comes The gearbox runs clean, was revised 20,000 ago, thanks again to the seller and reviser ... both here from the forum

PPs: if one has a suitable diff or has the rear axle, always bring it to me ...
