1) Draw a rectangle that defines the proportions and boundaries of the drawing.
2) Draw a horizontal and a vertical line that cross in the middle of the rectangle and divide it into four equal parts.
3) Draw another horizontal line dividing the top half of the rectangle into equal parts. Draw an identical line dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line dividing the left half of the rectangle into equal parts. Draw an identical line dividing the right side of the rectangle.

Mark off the width and height of the picture, as well as the general proportions of the church. Draw a center line through the roofs and walls.
