How does overtime work in the NBA
Here's how to watch the wired NBA playoffs
The NBA playoffs begin on Saturday April 13th. At this time of year the game changes from Well to large. Here's how to keep track of all the promotions without a cable subscription so you don't miss a game.
There are a few special channels you will need to watch every game: ESPN, ABC, TNT, and NBA TV. Various games from the first round are broadcast on all four channels, but the second round only on ESPN and ABC. The conference finale will only be broadcast on ESPN. The finale will only be broadcast on ABC.
Check out ABC and TNT for free
You can record ABC for free with an OTA HD antenna that will get you there at least in part. Approximately nine first-round games are broadcast on ABC, some of them in the second round. This is also where the finals take place. In other words, this is a channel that you don't want to miss out on. If you are unfamiliar with OTA HD antennas or you don't know how to set them up, don't worry my friend. You're welcome.

There is also a free option for TNT: TNT Overtime. This is a service that is supposed to offer a "second screen" in addition to the main TNT broadcast. As a result, you won't get the same viewing experience as watching the game on TV, but it is a little more intimate and offers several different views, e.g. B. a backboard camera, player cameras and an action camera. You can also view all four at the same time. There's potential for 37 games at TNT (depending on how long each series is) so that's a lot of basketball. Best of all, overtime just works - no additional setup is required.
For ESPN and NBA TV, time to buy a streaming package
While you can receive ABC and TNT shows for free, you have to pay for ESPN and NBA TV shows. Here are the best streaming packages to get the channels you need.
The best option: Sling Orange + Sports Extras ($ 35 / month)
At Sling, you need to purchase the Orange package for $ 25 per month to get TNT and ESPN. ABC is available in some regions. Go here and look for your zip code to see if it's available for you.
For NBA TV, you'll need to add the Sports Extra package, which is $ 10 per month.
It's also worth noting that at the time of writing Sling, you get a discount for new users: buy Sling Orange for $ 15 per month for the first three months instead of $ 25. That should pretty much cover all of the playoffs and finals for you. Kind.
A great option: PlayStation Vue Core ($ 50 / month)
If you are firmly against sling and / or to save money, PlayStation Vue is the next best option. With Vue, you get ESPN, NBA TV, and TNT in the core package for $ 50 per month. Like Sling, ABC is regionally available.
While Vue sounds like a PlayStation exclusive, it's available on a wide variety of devices including Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and more.
Another great option: YouTube TV ($ 50 / month)
If PlayStation Vue isn't tickling you, and if you're looking for something outside of Sling, YouTube TV is another great choice. YouTube TV recently came under fire for increasing its price to $ 50 a month, but it's still a great option for anyone looking to watch B-Ball. For fifty spots you get ESPN, TNT and NBA TV, with ABC available regionally.
So what about DirecTV Now and Hulu With Live TV?
We don't want to mention why these are left over, and for a good reason: they don't offer all of the channels you need at a reasonable price. There's no option for NBA TV on Hulu, and DirecTV Now charges $ 124 a month for a package of NBA TV. However, you can get ABC, TNT, and ESPN for $ 50 per month with either option. I think both options are fine if you are ok with them Not Have access to NBA TV.
