  1. Stupid but still to be expected - does anyone know any alternatives?

I knew that Kijiji belonged to Ebay and therefore could not understand the concept behind it, since Kijiji did not charge any costs for the listing / successful resale. Ebay has snatched the customers away with it. I thought that was weird.

In this respect, the step is also logically understandable. Still, I think it's stupid because Kijiji was one of the best and clearest classified ad sites.

Does anyone know any good alternatives?

    Quoka.de and local24.de

Kijiji made money by paying a hefty € 20 for personals. The usage rules for these advertisements are apparently so vaguely defined that it happened in abundance that advertisements were simply deleted (of course without a refund). Upon request, you only get a reference to the rules of use and no explanation of what exactly should have been wrong.
Conclusion: expensive and customer unfriendly. Hands off.

    dhd24.com, qpur.de, markt.de ..... and google too, they do everything ... :-)

Europe-wide? If 500 euros is enough to pay for all the servers and bandwidth, then I'll even give you 1000 euros for 51% of the company.

    You put in google advertising.
Then you keep the page slim and save about 90% of the traffic, i.e. the costs, against spon / golem / ...

I just don't pull up on my projects because of warnings.
Luxembourg and the like are probably looser. See Skype sitting there. You only pay 10% sales tax.

Well, not everyone likes ebay. In this respect, I think that the two things don't necessarily stand in each other's way. Nu as it is, it's over. meinestadt.de also has a classifieds market.

Addendum: In the reports about this message at news.google.de there were also those who reported that Ebay 16,000 employees and Craigslist iirc 30 (thirty, not thirty-thousand or thirty-hundred or 30 times ten or so) employees and 50 Million PI or unique visitors.

Especially with mobile use, pages are too bold! IMMEDIATELY! on. And then on the cell phone or iPhone you only use slim pages mercilessly. There are no and no excuses at all.

Just to hack Fette-Seiten-Spacken and PixelGenauDesignerSpacken. [1]
You can also be slim and have good sides.
"watch out, maybe she's here somewhere" the son of Family Guy as an artist about his beloved super-model. "oh no, you left the window open and it blew me back into the street".
Craigslist is a bit very spartan though.

I think Locanto is the best: http://www.locanto.de/ very well structured, little around it, focused on the essentials, and there is also weather there :)

So Kijiji (now ebay.kleinangebote) is not an alternative to Ebay. Ebay is an auction platform and Kijiji is a classifieds portal. And yes .. for all those who complain now :) you can see it either way. In the end it boils down to buying and selling :)

craiglist.org (The largest classifieds portal in the world, at least it used to be)
Quoka.de (Faith Germany's largest classifieds portal)
suchgebiete.com (name that I am familiar with, but nothing more)
Kalaydo.de (NRW's most popular classifieds portal)
ShuuQ.de (free classifieds portal, Twitter-like functions, startup company, very interesting)
dhd24.com (very clear advertising portal also quite large)

    Stadtlist.de:
Too few users yet. But free and open (also with "personals"). And uncomplicated and quick.

    Hi!

So at least for the personals area I found a small but nice alternative that will be free for a long time to come!

    See you soon! anna
