Is Gannicus real

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena
Alternative title: Spartacus: Gods of the arena
The six-part mini-series is a prequel to the gladiator series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" and explains the rise of the Batiatus family. It's about the gladiator Gannicus (Dustin Clare), who can win more and more fights and, through his enormous success, helps his masters, the house of Batiatus, to a great upswing. Gannicus ’greatest weaknesses are his thirst for wine and his lust for women. The young Batiatus (John Hannah) wants to use all of this to overthrow his father and, together with his faithful and shrewd wife Lucretia (Lucy Lawless), to usurp the power of the house. Both of them use any means to deceive the masses and to achieve their goals.

According to my era, the Roman Empire came before the filter bag advertising. You can trust the audience to have a bit of intelligence ;-)

@ Martina: Well, that's probably completely clear. At Melitta, everyone thinks of filter bags. Therefore.

blood and sand is running again at the moment, this time on kabel1. i would think it would be really great if goa would run directly afterwards. crixus and gannicus are my favorites. that's why i love goa so much, because gannicus is the main character and the rise of crixus is also discussed. maybe someone knows more whether goa will run on Kabel 1. thanks in advance ^^

Who came up with the stupid idea to replace "Melitta" in the German dubbing with "Melissa"? Even if the names are of the same origin, the original could have been kept.
