Sport is a kind of art

Why do we promote art, culture and sport?

Art, culture and sport bring people together, fill them with passion: Art works, stimulates discussion of the present and helps to develop creative ideas for the future. Culture inspires - across borders. It is always an encounter and an exchange. Sport connects and motivates to show performance and fairness.

Promoting art, culture and sport means helping to shape our society, giving it new impulses and enabling many people to have unforgettable experiences.

What contribution do we make?

Deutsche Bank has long been actively involved in art, culture and sport - nationally and internationally. The Art, Culture & Sports division is continuously developing this commitment and devising programs that benefit the public as well as customers and employees. In doing so, we want to live up to our corporate responsibility as well as promote our business activities.

Which projects do we support?

Under the motto "ArtWorks", Deutsche Bank has been offering employees, customers and the general public access to top-class contemporary art for 40 years. The heart of the art activities is the Deutsche Bank Collection, which is one of the most important corporate collections in the world today and whose works can be seen in the bank's office buildings as well as in international exhibitions. The “Artist of the Year” award honors promising international artists who have already created an artistic and socially relevant work. In the field of culture, we support the Berlin Philharmonic, the German Romantic Museum and the English Theater Frankfurt, among others. As a national sponsor of Deutsche Sporthilfe and partner of Eintracht Frankfurt, Deutsche Bank is involved in both competitive and popular sports. The Deutsche Bank Equestrian Academy promotes exceptional talent in dressage.
